POSTHARVEST HANDLING OF HERBS

v Upon arrival from the field, temperatures are taken (should b be 20-25C); the products are stored in the cold room overnight to remove field heat which increases water loss through evapotranspiration hence wilting
v Chives, coriander, dill, parsley, mint, oregano, thyme and rosemary is stored at 3-6˚C while basil is stored at 10-13C because it experiences chilling injury under too cold temperature
v Grading:- yellowing on leaves, tip burns, material affected by pests and diseases, and undergrads are removed;
v The materials are then bunched in varying weights of 50g, 60g,75g, 80g, or 100g depending on customer specification
v They are then put in a perforated blue polythene paper with a soft paper at the bottom to absorb moisture hence preventing rotting. The perforation allows for gaseous exchange and prevent ethylene build-up which causes deterioration hence short shelf life
v Another soft paper in then placed at the top of the perforated polythene to absorb moisture hence preventing moist conditions which causes blackening and rotting at the stem base
v They are then packaged in perforated 1kg carton then transferred to the cold room for pre-cooling
v Pre-cooled at 4-6˚C except for basil which is pre-cooled at 10-14˚C due to its sensitivity to cold temperatures which causes chilling injury

v The products are transported in insulated trucks at 4-6˚C to avoid loss of water through evapotranspiration and also prevent ethylene build-up which causes deterioration in quality

What are some ways I can engage with my team through my Stream messages?

Stream Posts is a powerful tool for communicating with your team members. Here are some ways to engage with your team through Stream Posts effectively:

- You can keep your message simple, but deep in meaning.

Communicate to them your strategy briefly. By doing this, you’re going to establish your strategy’s relevance with your team in a way that makes them care more about their development and growth in SFI. It should be at the core of all of your communications, a simple and inspiring message that is easy to relate to and understand. Strategy-specific messages linked to common purpose become tools to help your team members connect their day-to-day efforts.

- Not all messages are created equal. They need to be prioritized and sequenced based on their purpose. Think of the upcoming changes in 2016 the new Team Leader qualification added; you can re-emphasize this to your team with your post briefly and provide a short description of measures you’re going to take. This may spark their interest and would likely ask you for more. You can then expand on this topic on your weekly support message. Consider using a Share/Reinforce/Inspire framework when delivering your messages weekly, monthly and annually.

- Share important information to your team.

You can post important links resources that relate to marketing SFI such as live networking events, chambers of commerce sites, etc. You can even post threads links from the Forum that could help them in their training and support.

- Inspire your team.

Send inspiring messages to your team with their accomplishments. Whether you’re looking to build optimism, change focus, instill curiosity, or prepare them for future decisions, you’ll have more impact if you stir some emotion and create a lasting memory.

- Reinforce.

Most often you’ll have to repeat the message in order to increase understanding instill belief and lead to true change overtime. You might have developed an excellent strategy in marketing your SFI business but if it’s not communicated effectively, it is good for nothing. Write a few catchy words about it on the Stream Posts and direct them to your Leadership page for more.
These reinforcing messages need to come in a variety of tactics to be more effective. Ultimately, they serve to immerse your team in important content and give them the knowledge to confidently connect to your strategy.

- Recognize individuals in your team who consistently contribute growth to your organization such as sponsoring new affiliates every month, maintaining EA status, moving up to the next rank, etc.

promoting business during the big holidays and Christmas seasons

Have a look at your 'gift list,' family members, friends, work colleagues, sports and classmates, contacts - all the people that you know.

Ask yourself - Taking into account their family situations, sporting activities, etc, - what would they like to receive or give away as gifts?

Having identified what they are likely to be interested in as gifts, go to the site and search for those items.

Send messages to them suggesting that they have a look at your site highlighting the products they are likely to be interested in. To help them and to encourage them to go to your site, I would also give them a Gift Card each.

Do not spam. This is targeted advertising and we are only talking about contacting those people we know well.

As for all the other people in the whole wide world, now that you have done your research regarding likely items that people might want as gifts during this season, promote those items as widely and as often as possible.

The other point to remember is that at this time of the year, a lot of businesses are arranging ‘end of year’ functions for their staff. Most businesses give their staff some small gifts as tokens of appreciation for their work during the year. I would suggest that you identify likely suitable gifts and approach those arranging the functions. You never know, you may get a large order of small items with small commissions but they all add up. If you do really well, they might do the same thing next year or throughout the year.

how to communicate with your down line in affiliate business

The best way to communicate with your downline is whatever works for you. There are numerous ways that SFI has built into the system. You could do the following.

1. Send an email to your affiliate when you want to communicate directly with just that affiliate. However, you can do that using the Communications Manager built into SFI.

2. Send eCards to your affiliates when you want to communicate with one and congratulate him/her on reaching a goal or perhaps to wish the affiliate a happy birthday or send some other message.

3. Use the messaging feature available on every page and also available in the Affiliate Snapshot and Movers and Genealogy. That is also good for individual affiliates.

4. Use the Genealogy Team Mail to send out messages to all your team or to whichever combinations of groups you would like.

5. Send messages in the Stream to all your affiliates.

6. Communicate through the Forum.

You could telephone affiliates in your area that you sponsor. I wouldn't do that in the case of affiliates in very long distances where cost is very high.

My own preference is to contact affiliates through the PSA Mailer, the CSA Mailer and the Communications Manager at the SFI Affiliate Center or the Stream. That way, if something goes wrong with the affiliate's email address, you can still contact him/her. That is why these tools are provided. This should be very helpful to you.

how to recruit affiliate face to face ie offline

Face to face recruitment of affiliates is one of the most effective and powerful method of recruitment.

For doing such type of recruitment you can focus on the following:

1. Awareness Camps: Most of the community centers; commerce department of government; colleges or event managers’ organizers hold such type of camps to make people aware of various ways to set up livelihood for youngsters, unemployed and for those who look forward to set up their own business. You can own a cubicle to dissipate information about affiliate business and lead to have direct recruitment of affiliates.

2. Job Exhibitions or Job Fairs: Here companies make aware about the availability and benefit pertaining to the job in the job market. This is again a place to target for as you get the right prospects to talk to and impress them to convert into affiliates.

3. Open House get-together: You can target your warm market here which would include family, friends, relatives and neighbors.

4. Seminars: You can choose a location and advertise about the seminar that you would conduct to address to maximum people at one go. This in turn can lead you to face to face closure of recruitment of affiliates.

5. Community centers: You can organize a campaign to spread the advantages of second source of income that can also be willed to the people to create an effect that leads to people contacting you. Subsequently this would lead to face to face affiliate recruitment.

Apart from all these listed options you can find your ways on the basis of the following:

1. You should get the right segment of people and your address should direct to their needs and ease of doing your business .
2. Your preparedness to address to the concerns of your prospects impromptu.
3. Ease of addressing in context to using a common language that people in the place would understand.

With all this you are there to have a start that can take you to a different level all together.
Remember to use stationery, apparels, and lapel pins etc to showcase that you are proud to patronize and look professional. You can also distribute X Cards, Gift cards through some contests and flyers with your contact details as some may contact you later.

If you do it right, result would be right.

How to organize and track my advertising?

affiliate Key codes will track traffic and conversions for you and I advise using a spreadsheet such as excel or Open Office's Spreadsheet to keep track of what codes you used on what sites. You can even learn to set up data fields to compare different types of advertising such as Paid PPC, Paid Classifieds, Offline, and Online etc.

It's always helpful when using paid advertising to track your return on investment, and, likewise, you don't wish to waste time on free ads that aren't converting.

I would also recommend that if you have your own website and use landing pages or splash pages to promote affiliate that you invest in a good split testing software to get the highest conversion possible from that free and paid traffic, and I recommend use of a bulk e-mail software or autoresponder, such as Mail Chimp or Aweber to capture leads of people who would like more information and are not ready to join yet. Both the split test software and the autoresponder will have their own tracking data to make your business smarter.

The last thing is vital in this social media driven, modern marketing system and that is using tools such as Klout, and Empire Avenue to track social influence and highlight social interactions on your major network profiles and pages. Basic stats for social media are all an affiliate marketer really needs to be a success online with social media.

The last piece of the puzzle is for managing your human assets, friends, and prospects. If you really want to be data driven, you can research open source CRM or customer relationship manager software. This is like using a personal planner to track contacts, meeting notes, and other details that will help you convert prospects into customers. This works especially well if you are recruiting and training local ECAs or matching a local business with an ECA supplier for a wholesale supply or maybe even things like The Natural brand cleaners.

I love a great question that explores the moderate to advanced end of our business. These are not beginners' tools, but they are vital tools for those ready to take their business to the next leve

ways to create an effective personal website

www.tripleclicks.com/13457859

An effective personal website for your SFI business is probably one of the biggest aspects of your online presence. It is far more effective in communicating to your potential prospects about your SFI business.
Here are important points to consider in creating an effective website for SFI:
- Depending on your budget you can make some financial investment upfront to hire professionals, who can point you in the right direction and can help you maintain an effective web presence for years to come.
- Choose a designer carefully and check out sites he/she has done before. Make sure to communicate to him/her your plan for the organization and content of your personal website for SFI and spell out clearly what you want each page to do.
- Make your SFI business easy to find online by picking a web address that’s easy to remember. You can purchase a short domain name that closely relates to your SFI business. If the ideal dot-com name isn’t available, you can select one of the newer domain suffixes such as dot-biz.
- Make your site rich in content. Determine the most important question that your target audience wants answered, what attracts visitors to your site and keep them coming back, etc. are important component that you shouldn’t miss.
- The more useful information and compelling content you provide the more visits your site will receive. I’m referring to words, headings, or images that induce visitors to interact with your site.
- You can make your content compelling in a number ways by providing a call to action, such as Click Here, explain how the prospect benefits by clicking a link and exploring your site (“Earn a Welcome Cash/Welcome TCredits by clicking here.”), briefly and concisely state your SFI business and its mission, etc.
- Don’t forget the personal touch. Anything you can tell about yourself helps to personalize the process and put your prospects at ease. The key is, let your prospects know that they’re dealing with real people, not remote machines and computer programs.
- Provide your contact information. Don’t forget to include your email and phone number. Do your best to respond quickly to all your prospect’s inquiries.
- Make your website a go-to resource. You can make your website not only a place for signing up prospects for your SFI business but also indispensable resources full of useful hyperlinks and other information so your prospects will want to visit again and again.
Conclusion:
A well-designed personal website for SFI in place should include all of the amazing content to make it compelling for your prospects to sign up. It doesn’t have to be fancy or include all of the latest in website design and technology (and really, it shouldn’t), it just has to accomplish a few major things.
All in all, it should leave a great first impression. Your content will help the cause, but before the content is even consumed people are going to make snap judgements about your brand and the website based on the design, and you want that judgement to be favorable.
A clean website that’s easy to navigate through and isn’t too overwhelming (i.e. too many options, and especially advertisements) is what you should be aiming for.
The branding elements including your logo, your tagline and any other graphical elements on the site should make it easy for new visitors to understand why the site exists and why they should stick around. Remember, people will be approaching your website asking themselves, “Why am I here and what’s in it for me?”
And lastly, you’ll want to make it incredibly easy for visitors to do the following:
1. Read your content.
2. Subscribe to your email list.
3. Share your content.
4. Leave comments.

how to promote products during holidays seasons

Every opportunity should be seized to achieve our goals. Have a look at your 'gift list,' family members, friends, work colleagues, sports and classmates, contacts - all the people that you know. Ask yourself - Taking into account their family situations, sporting activities, etc, - what would they like to receive or give away as gifts? Having identified what they are likely to be interested in as gifts, go to TripleClicks and search for those items. Send messages to them suggesting that they have a look at TripleClicks highlighting the products they are likely to be interested in. To help them and to encourage them to go to TripleClicks, I would also give them a Gift Card each. Some ideas promoting Tripleclicks during this holiday period are as follows:- 1. Awareness. 2. Advertisement. 3. Special offers. 4. Unique products. 5. Unbeatable prices.

How to build a team where everyone knows they are valued members and part of something special

Your first contact with your affiliates when you send a Welcome E-Card must contain a sincere and warm welcome that makes the new affiliates feel special and that he’s just joined a special team led by you.

The next step is to see to it that the new affiliate is given extra special attention to getting started properly, with friendly guidance.

Always check in after a few days to see if he needs further assistance in understanding SFI procedures, and offering a one-on-one mentoring will make him a valued member.

Do this to all that joins your team and every one will feel loved and cared for When someone is having a birthday, send a Birthday E-card, share the happy occasion with your team.

When anyone in your team reaches a milestone, have sponsored their first Affiliate , made a sale, won the Class Champion in E365

contest, or won in the Daily Grand Drawing, a reward of TC Credits or Gift Certificate and a mention at your Leadership Blog, weekly group mail, as well as in Stream Post will be appreciated by your team.

Let them know that you care and value them by communicating with them regularly. The Chat box is ideal for a personal one-on-one conversation where you can do follow up based on what you have discussed.

Share your own enthusiasm and your success with them, no matter how small, and your team will really feel valued and happy to belong to your special team led by a special awesome sponsor- YOU!

What are some tips for getting the most out of the affiliated Forum each day?

It is very important that affiliates who are skeptical and doubtful about the usefulness of Affiliation forum are given some clarification. I have couple of tips to offer here about the value of forum as it has been to me.
1. I gain a lot of added knowledge, wisdom and insights from the points shared at the forum concerning issues of concern. I click on the issues that interest me, and I scan through the information shared. Sometimes, if I feel that I have something valuable to contribute, then I do so. These Ideas and experienced shared at the forum are very useful and helpful indeed.
2. At times, I give thumbs up to the comments and statements posted. I try my best to at least encourage those who put up the posts by adding thumbs up sign to their post. This thumb up sign is a way of appreciating the efforts of the author of the post. In so doing, we are also encouraging them to contribute more to the forum. They (authors of the posts) need to feel that their efforts in providing needed support at the forum are not vain effort. We value and appreciated them indeed.
3. The third point is very important to those who are particularly handicapped in English. The forum has created an avenue for those country grouping to get into their country groups, or language groupings and share with those who are seeking help but cannot communicate well in English. Their country affiliates who have been long enough in affiliation and have essential knowledge and experience to share and answer questions can contribute meaningfully to their fellow countrymen and women. Say for example for those of us in Kenya, we are able to get into the KCC Kenyan forum and share there in Kenya way of business. We in so doing have helped many and consolidated our affiliates to have a strong affiliates base and have revived those who were not so very active at all here in Kenya . Though Kenya is ranked 10 in the world, we hope this rating will improve in the future as we help clear some doubt and skepticism in many, so they can realize their respective dreams of life through affiliation. Affiliation is not hoax, its real man!
4. I feel particularly encouraging when I have a thumb up sign besides the posts that I post in the forum. It shows that others value my comments and like it. When I see this thumb up sign, it encourages me on to share all the more and contribute meaningfully in the forum.
5. I get more practical realities at the forum as affiliates share about their experiences. Its reality that matters more to me than anything else. I can load myself up with all the latest state of the art theories that intellectual materials can offer me, but if those theories are not practically viable, then they are practically useless to me.
6. When we help answer the problems and questions of fellow affiliates at the forum, we help them grow. And the more they grow and become successful, they intend share their knowledge and experiences to their down line. It’s a chain reaction that can viral and spin exponentially. The more they grow, the more affiliation grows and in return we are able to share a bigger share of the cake in terms of commission, and other benefits.
These are what I can offer in the meantime and I sincerely hope that these tips have shed some light and broaden our horizons about the usefulness of affiliation forum.
All the best and long live in affiliation

One of the best knowledge based tools for our SFI and TripleClicks business is the forum that was created for the SFI affiliates.
The easiest way to learn new things is to read all you can and our forum has posts listed that can answer almost every question you could come up with when needing an answer to something that has you stumped.

I would like to say that even if there were no points awarded for visiting the forum daily I would still visit the forum 3 or 4 times a day. If you are visiting the forum just for the single VersaPoint each day then that is all you will gain from using the forum – 1 point
To gain the most from the forum each day I purposely look for posts that will help me in building my SFI and TripleClicks business. When I find some new information that will help me or my team in having better success in what I am doing I will copy the information and put it in a file using windows. When I copy the post I will include who wrote the post and the link in where to find it again if needed.
I have the same category listing as SFI forum does so I will put the new copied post in the same category in my files this makes it easy for me to refer to it when I need to. By doing this I am creating a fantastic knowledge base that I can continue to learn from, at my own pace, without having to log in.
You can gain a lot more from the forum when you personally answer someone else’s questions. After answering their question scroll to the bottom of the page and select the “Subscribe to this thread” button.
When subscribed to a thread that you have answered you will get the answers sent directly to you from other affiliates who answered the same questions. By doing this you could find easier or better ways to have gotten your answer across. And you will see if other people agreed with you or if they posted a helpful criticizing reply.
This action has helped me tremendously in answering questions in the forum and in ASK SC answers as well.
Visit the forum for knowledge and to share what you have learned, your new knowledge will pay you dividends for the rest of your life. Knowledge is power that is paid back in income.
Isn’t it worth so much more than earning just one VersaPoint?

to promote your business in link to affiliation

Sometime we as business owner have to let our Clients and the people that we do our yearlong business with know what our business is all about and how they can share in it also. And also this time of the year is very special and at the same time very important Too. Because the people that are now around us are very eager to listen and hear what is being said in our advertisements, by knowing this we pay special attention to the way that they react to what we send out to them. And also what area and what part of the Country we are target with our advertisement, what we say in them is real important to the people that we are trying to get to notice what we are doing with the business that we are doing. And we must sent out follow-up notices to those that we did contact and who also show some interest and before too long after this they may even decide to come on broad with you as just a shopper, or just a buyer, but they are now on broad with your business.
My greatest suggestion would be to do your promoting as EARLY as possible.

The shipping time that some companies have for their products is over a month, to certain countries, usually to people not living in their own country. When many products have free shipping for their products, though, this is to be expected.

Promote the companies that accept pick-ups - where buyers who live in that area can go and collect their products at the premises of the company, especially when time is running out to get one's gifts in time! Obviously try and geo-target market where possible - market the products of a company in a certain country to people living in that same country.

Or warn your potential new affiliates that they may need to order as soon as possible in order to get their products on time for the gift-giving season. Do of course mention, though, that the delivery time may only be a bit long due to many products at highlighted in the sites having shipping included in their price (free shipping!)

Plan well in advance. Order some gift-giving season products for yourself too, now, and then late next year - not too late though!- you can show off these products to potential new affiliate s which may help entice them to order the same products.

Also mention how at your company they may be able to get an extra gift to give to somebody for free:

Tell them they will get Member Rewards Points when they purchase products at the company and that these Member Rewards Points can be saved up and then used to buy another gift!

Also tell them that they can get Member Rewards Points in other ways too - from using credits (that they may win!) on games or on auctions, and from maybe winning Member Rewards Points in the Daily Crown.

Also explain how they may win an auction and may be able to choose a gift certificate option instead of the item up for auction, and that they can use that gift certificate at TripleClicks or at another place like Amazon.

And be happy and excited in all your promotions.
No doubt, the current Forum Is another unofficial ‘knowledge base’ for all Affiliates, contributed by all Affiliates.
Forum is a place where all affiliates can share information, ask question and submit their own answers as well. Questions and answers may come from inexperience new members or season ones and the answer you received also the same, may come from newbies or experienced and seasoned Team Leaders. The best part of it, if no correct and clear answers given by members, Mr. Carson himself will come forward with ‘on the spot’ answers.

Forum should be used as reference points besides those official info made available by SFI. It is a must for every member to read Forum to enrich their knowledge and to find their ‘out of the box’ answers. By doing so, members should be able to learn to:

1) Ask question and support from fellow members when no assistance received from their
Sponsors/Co-Sponsors.
2) Gain knowledge by participating in Forum.
3) Enhanced their writing skills, by reading and submitting questions and answers, thus
improve their self-confidence and helps develop their Leadership skills.
4) Enable Senior Leaders to share valuable tips with the entire SFI’s community; in return each
member could use the same tips or info with their very own team members/down lines.

Forum, again no doubt is a powerful platform for all affiliates to brainstorm and if used properly can assist everyone to success. With the assistance of Forum Moderators, only relevant question allowed to be posted and with a handful of Forum Gurus, has made Forum a ‘conducive’ place to be for every member to share their thoughts.
First understand that the SFI FORUM is an important forum for strategic, direct to point support to answers to affiliates who are in dear need of answer to quickly meet their need.

To maximize the benefits of this forum, do the following:

1. Enter forum as frequent as possible but do more of reading than contributing.

2. As you read answers to questions, do comparative analysis of answers and ideas.

3. Filter and make use of best answers and ideas.

4. Ask your own specific questions about things bordering you. Or areas you need guidance to improve.

5. Try to view the pages of Team Leaders who have referred and registered many ECAs, top 100 sellers, top enrollers etc. for advice on how you too can do same. These are activities to help you earn in $1000's

6. A good place to choose a2a friends by select from those in no 5. Above as mentors. Remember the saying, " show me your mentor and I will show you how far you can go "

I assure you that doing all the above will help you enjoy FORUM maximally.
See you at the top soon.
Top of Form
Bottom of Form
This is an excellent question.

Many people cringe at the idea of "writing" because they think they don't know how to write, but, the bottom line, it's much easier than you'd believe.

I was taught good writing skills during my education years all the way through college. I was fortunate to have some very good teachers. Having said that, writing skills are more about communicating an idea to people. One does not have to be William Shakespeare to do this.

First, as an SFI Member, you have access to many "Templates" other members have written and used in their communications. I'd highly recommend you review them. You can edit them to suit your personal preferences and copy/paste them into your PSA/CSA/Team Mail correspondence. The SFI system will save your versions for future mailings.

Secondly, think about what piques your interest. There is no reason why you shouldn't convey that to others. This is especially helpful to get Team Members that are on the "same page" as you and build a personal relationship.

Finally, keep your content simple and to the point.
Standard successful advertising rules are as follows:

1) Subject Line - Maximum 20 characters in length. Do NOT include $ signs or references to "making millions", etc.
2) Content - Maximum 200 characters in length. Keep the content relevant and concise.
3) Contact Information - Very important to allow your Team Members to access you on a PERSONAL level.

I hope this helps you in your endeavors to communicate with your team.

God Bless and Success. What are the best habits to develop to ensure that your affiliated business continually grows?
Best habit for success in affiliated:
- daily advertising and looking for new members
- advertising products from group daily ,on various social networks and places for advertising
- regularly completion of daily, weekly and monthly tasks,
- to explain to your members, that should make effort to succeed,
- advertising various products from TripleClicks on domestic and foreign places for advertising,
- play games.

I hope my answer will help you, I wish you success in your work.
promote your business in a system that can be attractive to costumers
